Please be advised the workshop on Thursday 13 April is fully booked. Spaces are still available on Friday 14 April, 11am.

In this integrated craft and performance workshop, children will create their own individual shadow character made from scraps, crafts, tinsel, tape and teddy bear fluff. Participants will then be guided in performance techniques to draw emotion and drama out of the characters they make.

Award winners at Edinburgh and Adelaide Fringe Festivals, Bunk Puppets have travelled the globe and built an international reputation with their absurdist and imaginative visual stories.

Don't forget to attend the Bunkasaurus performance, at Drum Theatre on Friday 14 April, 2pm.

Company Bio:

Bunk Puppets create imaginative and visually driven theatre performances, using new approaches to shadow puppetry and clowning.

We aim to develop work that appeals to a broad range of international audiences, and cultural groups.

Our artistic vision is to continually stretch the ancient art of shadow play into a contemporary storytelling form. Based in Melbourne, Bunk Puppets have established a worldwide reputation for imaginative visual theatre productions, and a unique approach to shadow puppetry.

We have toured internationally to China, Japan, Korea, Spain, France, Germany, New Zealand, Malta, Dubai, Egypt, Malaysia, Singapore and across Australia, Europe, all over the UK and Off Broadway in New York City.
