Whether you are a regular theatre-goer, attended a dance at the old town hall back in the day or just curious, come on in and discover what’s inside the façade on the corner of Lonsdale Street and Walker Street, Dandenong.
The Drum Theatre was realised in 2006 when Williams Ross architects breathed new life into the iconic Dandenong Town Hall. It is a post-colonial landmark within a modern multicultural community. The traditional custodians of this land are the Bunurong People and we recognise and respect their continuing connections to climate, Culture and Country.
Now a theatre and creative centre, The Drum plays a role in how live performance shapes lives and connects people.
