Faujdar Ghashiram is a Hindi Musical Theatre Production by Khelaiya Productions.

Khelaiya Productions returns once again with an innovative theatrical concept, presenting Faujdar Ghashiram in a vibrant and engaging Nautanki style—a traditional musical theatre genre from North India.

This powerful adaptation of renowned modern playwright Vijay Tendulkar’s Ghashiram Kotwal is a tribute to North Indian culture, celebrating its rich traditions, regional customs, music, and way of life.

Set in a fictional town in North India, the story is a sharp satire on social hierarchy, the abuse of power, and the eternal struggle between the regulator and the regulated to retain control. Through evocative music, folk influences, and the colourful Nautanki performance style, the play captures the very soul of North India, creating a truly immersive theatrical experience.

Please note: The show will include strobe lighting and smoke/haze.

All welcome.
