Accessibility

Drum Theatre is fully accessible, with a wheelchair-friendly foyer, accessible toilets, and access to a five minute drop-off zone next to the theatre in Walker Street.

The theatre has flat-floor access to row AA in the dress circle and row C in the stalls. The dress circle can be accessed via the lift located in the foyer. Row C has easy access on either end to cater for wheel chairs or patrons with walking frames, and if required, seats can be removed in banks of three to allow space for more than one wheel chair. Please ensure you request this through the Drum Theatre Box Office in advance of the performance date, as this is subject to availability and must be pre-arranged.

Food and Drink

Located in the foyer, The Drum Cafe and Bar is a fully licensed bar serving a range of hot and cold beverages, snacks, confectionery, muffins and biscuits.

The bar is the perfect place for a coffee and cake before a matinee performance or a glass of wine before an evening performance. And no visit to the theatre would be complete without an ice cream at interval. The bar is open one hour before every performance held in the theatre.

You can avoid the queues at interval by pre-ordering your interval drinks and confectionery before the performance. Simply visit the bar before the show, place your order and your requested items will be available immediately for collection from the bar at the start of interval. No waiting, no hassles – just the way a night at the theatre should be.
