Drum Theatre is an inclusive venue and provides a range of services and facilities to assist those with mobility difficulties and accessibility needs. Our Venue has the following accessible services:
- Wheelchair and companion seating
- Easy access seating with limited stairs
- Lift access
- Vision Impaired seating
- Hearing Loop in the Stalls and Dress Circle area
- Companion Card Scheme
- Accessible toilets
Can I use any companion cards?
Companion cardholders are entitled to receive an accompanying ticket for their companion at no cost when purchasing a ticket for themselves to an event. A valid Companion Card or valid Companion Card number must be produced at the time of the booking, time of ticket collection or on request to gain access to the Companion Card Scheme offer.
What should I do if I arrive after the performance?
If you arrive after the performance has commenced you may be asked to wait for a suitable time to enter the theatre to ensure disruption to the performance is limited. Occasionally a performance will have a total lockout where latecomers will not be admitted once the performance has commenced. Unfortunately tickets cannot be refunded under these circumstances.
What should I do if I lost my tickets?
Lost your tickets or left them at home?
The Ticket and Customer Service Office team will be happy to reprint them for you on the day of the performance with suitable ID.
About recording / audiotaping events
Cameras and video recorders, audiotape recorders and other types of recording devices may be prohibited at the event.
About Postponements, cancellations and refunds
Tickets cannot be refunded, exchanged or cancelled once issued except in accordance with the applicable laws of Australia.
In the event of a cancellation, the purchase will be refunded directly to the credit card used for the original purchase. In the event of a postponement, purchased tickets for the original date will be valid for the new date unless otherwise notified. Purchasers have the option to seek a refund for the value of the purchased ticket(s) for a postponed event by contacting Drum Theatre prior to the replacement date for the postponed show. In the event that a Promoter authorises ticket refunds for a postponed event, they will be issued only to the original credit card used for the purchase.
Privacy Policy
Collection - Drum Theatre collects only the personal information necessary for performing ticketing and marketing functions.
Use and Disclosure - Drum Theatre does not sell or distribute lists of its patrons or their contact details to any other organisations or persons:
- unless specifically advised, with prior consent to do so by the patron
- and Drum Theatre is satisfied that the third party’s Privacy Policy is in accordance with legislative requirements.
Data Quality - Drum Theatre endeavors to ensure personal information is accurate, complete and up to date.
Access and Correction - The City of Dandenong Privacy and Personal Information Policy complies with Privacy Data Protection Act 2014 and bound by the Information Privacy Principles (IPP’s) outlined in this legislation.
Anonymity - Where it is lawful and feasible to do so, a patron can transact with Drum Theatre without identifying themselves.
Purchase from unauthorised sources
Tickets are sold on behalf of the Promoter by Drum Theatre. Do not purchase tickets from any source other than the Drum Theatre website.
Tickets purchased from any other source may be unauthorised copies and may be refused admittance to the event.
Refusal of admission or ejection for objectionable behaviour
Drum Theatre reserve the right, without refund of any amount paid, to refuse admission to, or eject, any person whose behaviour does not comply with the rules and regulations set forth by the venue.
Refund Policy
All sales are final and there are no refunds or exchanges offered on ticket purchases; with the exception of Drum Members who are able to return tickets for all Drum Presents* shows as part of the benefits of being a member.
The Drum Presents* program includes all Encore and OnStage shows.
Reserving Tickets
Tickets made as a reservation will be held for 2 working days awaiting payment unless you have a group booking of 10 or more or other arrangements are agreed at time of booking.
Tickets cannot be held without payment within 72 hours of a performance or if the performance is close to selling out.
Changes in program
The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw, replace, add or substitute artists or performers without notice.
Sales Conditions
The standard ticket purchasing conditions are printed on the back of Drum Theatre’s tickets and comply with Australian Entertainment Industry Association (AEIA) Code of Practice.
Service Fees
A booking fee of $1.30 per ticket is payable for tickets purchased online or tickets transacted by phone as a sale or reservation. There is no extra charge for delivery of tickets.
Specific Performance information
Duration, content warnings and special effects information will be promoted on our website as the information comes to hand. Please check the website for regular updates or call the Ticket Office if you have a specific enquiry. Please note the running time of an event is an approximate only.
