Sidrah Gardens School presents a school theatre production depicting the marvellous and miraculous events surrounding the birth of the Prophet Muhammad.

Set against the dramatic backdrop of sixth-century Arabia, The Shimmering Light brings to life a remarkable period in history filled with courage, wonder and divine signs. Through storytelling, performance and striking visual scenes, students will journey through the events surrounding Abraha’s march toward Makkah, the miraculous protection of the Ka‘bah, and the extraordinary signs that heralded the arrival of the final Messenger. 

This special production invites families and the wider community to experience these treasured stories in an engaging theatrical setting, while reflecting on themes of faith, hope, courage and the power of Allah. 

Join the students from the Sidrah Gardens School for an inspiring evening of theatre, history and storytelling celebrating the most significant moment in the Islamic tradition. 

This performance is not appropriate for children under 7years of age.
