The story, set 1800 years ago, takes you through Kannaki’s journey of love, betrayal, and tragedy as she fights for her husband’s honour after he is wrongfully executed. Her righteous fury leads to the fall of an entire city, cementing her place in Tamil cultural history. This powerful production, with captivating choreography and evocative live music, will immerse you in the timeless beauty of one of the world’s oldest epics.
Written by renowned playwright Mavai Nithi and directed by Bakeerathy Parthiban, the performance is in simple Tamil, with English interpretation, making it accessible to all. Join us for an evening that promises to enthral, inspire, and resonate long after the final curtain.
